Bookings can only be taken for a full week starting/ending on a Saturday.
Check in/out times - please arrive after 3:00pm and vacate by 10:30am when leaving.
Three steps to booking:
1. Check on the calendar to see if the week or weeks you want are available.
2. Email / phone us to check weekly rate and enquire about your preferred dates.
3. To confirm booking please send your £200 deposit.
Bookings will be entered on to the calendar as soon as a deposit is received.
What to bring
2025 Update - We ask guest to please bring your own bedding (duvet covers, sheets, pillowcases and bathroom towels). However, if absolutely not possible we can supply a linen service at an additional cost of £100.
Be prepared for mixed weather, which means you’ll need rainproof clothing and boots as well as your normal holiday wear. Also, you need to remember towels. Otherwise, you won’t need to bring anything – apart from food and drink – because the house is well equipped with most things.
If you have a boat on a trailer, be aware it cannot be launched from Liddesdale Cottage; too often the car and trailer get bogged down in the grass by the gate so access is blocked. You’re welcome to bring canoes and inflatables with your own life jackets and safety equipment.
